Approach

Thoughtful garden design is not just arranging plants, but crafting a space that evokes emotion and inspiration. It also needs to be practical in order to transform your outdoor space into a functional extension of your home.

Initial Meeting

Design starts with you. Let's meet, i'll ask the right questions and listen to the answers. I'll write up a detailed design brief to direct us moving forwards.

Survey & Analysis

A full topographical survey of the entire site with photographs will form the basis of the design. This ensures acuracy from beginning to end.

Design

A plan view sketch design is produced, detailing the design concept for your space. This is presented along side moodboards and 3D perspectives where required.

Detailed Drawings

Once the design is approved, the design is developed into more detailed drawings including Masterplans, Section Elevations, Lighting Design and Planting Schemes.

Tender

The design and detailed drawings are packaged for tender and quotes are sought for the hard and soft landscaping.

Construction

Construction begins — turning the design plan into a real garden. Every step, from groundworks to planting, brings the concept to life.

What service is right for you?

As a client, your choice between consultation, concept design or a full design package depends on your specific needs, budget, and confidence in executing the project.

Consultation

A consultation only option is ideal if you're seeking advice or fresh ideas but want to manage the design and implementation yourself.

This is a one-off service for a fixed price.

Concept Only

A concept-only service suits those who need help with layout and vision, but prefer to handle the details or work with their own contractors.

Full Design

Opting for the full design package is best if you're looking for a comprehensive, professional approach - from initial ideas through to detailed plans and planting schemes, ensuring a cohesive transformation of your outdoor space.

Planting Design

Choosing to re-design existing planting beds can be an effective way to refresh your garden, fill in any seasonal gaps, adjust colours or refine an overall style.

Many services can be offered remotely where the location is considerably further away from the studio.
