Welcome to my garden design portfolio - a collection of spaces where creativity meets nature. Each project reflects my passion for transforming outdoor areas into beautiful, functional sanctuaries.
SWERFORD
This garden for a converted barn in Swerford is designed to balance openness with a sense of privacy, making the most of its far-reaching rural views. The layout unfolds from an intimate courtyard into a field-edge garden that gradually opens out to the wider landscape, creating a gentle transition between enclosed and expansive spaces. For a keen gardener, generous herbaceous borders form a key part of the design, providing seasonal interest and space for evolving planting. Existing features, including a shepherd’s hut and hot tub, are thoughtfully integrated, with carefully placed planting and structural elements enhancing seclusion without interrupting key sightlines. Currently under construction, the scheme aims to create a calm, immersive setting that feels both connected to and sheltered within its surroundings.

CHISWICK
This courtyard garden in Chiswick was designed for a busy working couple seeking a calm, low-maintenance outdoor space to unwind. I developed a concept-led design focused on structure, texture and a restrained planting palette to create a sense of cohesion and quiet retreat. The scheme was implemented independently by the clients, who interpreted the design in their own way, resulting in a space that captures the overall vision while reflecting some personal adjustments to the original plan.
